Ali Mafi may be the world’s only gay Iranian comic, and he’s certainly the funniest. In a little less than a year, this young comic went from auditioning for University of San Francisco’s Last Comic Standing to hosting at such prestigious comedy clubs as the San Jose Improv, San Francisco Punchline and Cobbs Comedy Club. The Bay Area Reporter called him “the evening’s true revelation.”
