Our Family Coalition
Our Family Coalition protects the civil rights and well being of families with lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender members through education, advocacy, social networking and grassroots community organizing.
PROGRAM AREAS:
Community Events provide opportunities for LGBT parents and their children to meet and get to know other families like theirs. OFC events are affirming to our families, celebrating the diversity within the LGBT community.
Educational Programs & Workshops offer information on both LGBT-specific and general parenting topics in an LGBT sensitive environment.
Resources for Your Family give your family valuable up-to-date information through OFC’s quarterly newsletter, a bi-weekly e-newsletter and three discussion listservs for parents to network and share resources with one another.
Trainings & Community Partnerships create safer, more inclusive schools & other services that serve LGBT families and their children.
