Deb L. Kinney is a partner in DLKLawGroupPC, a law firm providing comprehensive and competent estate planning, trust administration and probate services. The planning practice covers a broad spectrum from foundational estate planning to wealth transfer to complex charitable planned giving. Deb sits on the Board of Horizons Foundation and helped to develop the planned giving acceptance policy and served as co-chair of the Planned Giving Committee for 4 years. She also was on the board of Equality California the largest statewide LGBT political and legislative organization. Deb speaks regularly on estate planning and charitable giving and also is known as an expert in taxation in the LGBT community.
Deb has a B.A. from University of California at Berkeley, a J.D. from New College School of Law, is a member of the California State Bar Trusts and Estates Section, the Bar Association of San Francisco and the American Bar Association.
Deb has an extensive background in real estate and was recently involved with the passage of another property tax bill protecting unmarried partners. Deb has two daughters, age 14 and 24.
