Yulissa Zulaica is a partner at DLKLawGroupPC, primarily managing the trust administration and probate portion of the practice. In addition, Yulissa is the lead attorney for international estate planning, addressing cross-border issues and also helping clients structure their personal and business succession planning.
Yulissa was born and raised in San Diego, California. She obtained a B.A. in both Japanese and Political Science from the University of California, Berkeley and a J.D. from Golden Gate University (GGU). She is currently pursuing her LL.M in Taxation at GGU. Yulissa is a member of the California Bar Association, the Trusts and Estates Section of the Bar Association of San Francisco (SFBA), the La Raza Lawyers’ Association of San Francisco, the Latino Community Foundation, and the San Francisco Hispanic Chamber of Commerce.
Yulissa dedicates her free time to the Volunteer Legal Services program of the San Francisco Bar Association, a program that provides legal services to low income people. She also participates annually in both the AIDS Walk-A-Thon and the Swim-A-Mile for women with cancer.
Yulissa currently lives in the East Bay with her husband and two children. She is fluent in Spanish and English and speaks conversational Japanese and Basque.
