GLBT Estate Planning Seminar and Legal Update

BvHLawGroup LLP and the Modvich/Dewing Group from Smith Barney Citigroup will host an estate planning seminar for the GLBT community. This session will be an in-depth workshop looking at basic estate planning issues and techniques for GLBT individuals, couples and families wanting to provide for loved ones while minimizing estate taxes and maximizing charitable opportunities. In addition there will be a legal update on:
- new retirement plan benefits
- real property assessment and transfer tax laws
- joint income tax filings for Registered Domestic Partners
