Registered domestic partners are now required to file their state income taxes just as married persons do beginning with taxes for the 2007 fiscal year. Deb Kinney will be joined by knowledgeable tax practitioners to discuss the financial and legal implications of the new California state income tax filing requirements. This seminar will demystify the process, requirements and outcomes of the new filing guidelines, and to provide an analysis of the recent clean-up legislation and safe harbor provisions.
