DLKLawGroup PC is making a $10,000 dollar contribution to the No on 8 Campaign in honor of all of our clients, colleagues and friends who are getting married in this historic time.

The stories of love and commitment that we hear each day from people, often who have been in long term relationships, is inspiring to us all here at DLKLawGroup. We could think of no better way to honor these couples than to do our part to ensure these rights remain intact.

We urge each of you to consider making a contribution as well - for some of you it may be an additional contribution, but we must raise the necessary funds in the 24 hours to reach the undecided voters who will ultimately determine the outcome of this election. As difficult as it may seem to part with funds given the current market conditions, it will be much harder to face a world that does not give equal dignity, respect and stature to all of our families.

Despite what you may hear in the news, maintaining the right to marry and equality for same-sex couples is not at all assured. It will take the concerted effort of each and every one of us who believes in marriage equality to do as much as each of us can — raising money, talking to friends, emailing everyone we know, and ultimately mobilizing the fair-minded Californians who will support the right to marry.

Please do not delay - the time is now - this is a civil rights issue that will be decided in the November election. We must do all that we possibly can so that none of us wakes up November 5th wondering if we had done just a little bit more, would it have made the difference?
