Alison was born and raised in Chicago, Illinois. She graduated from the University of Illinois with a B.S. in Finance with Honors. Alison received her J.D. from Hastings College of the Law and LL.M. in Tax from Golden Gate University. She is a member of the California State Bar and its Trusts and Estates and Taxation Sections.
Alison has eight years experience working as a tax lawyer advising individuals, family-owned businesses and multinational corporations on tax planning, tax compliance, tax controversy, estate planning, employee benefits and entity structure. Alison also has worked as a senior research analyst in the software area, specializing in B2B, for McKinsey and Co., Credit Suisse First Boston, Deutsche Morgan Grenfell and Gartner Group. She joined DLKLawGroup in January, 2008.
Alison recently got married to her partner of 16 years with whom she has a daughter, age 6.
